shaun once taught me that using the term "pay the price" is better than "punishment" or "consequences". so i tried it with my class today and indeed my kids are more willing to pay the price than to be punished.
did not yelled or screamed at them today. all i did was to tell them how disappointed i am with their quality of work and how they should know my expectations and during the 3 periods of lessons, they were angelic.
