labour day was spent with the boyfriend's parents to tiong barhu market for breakfast. totally lost my voice and auntie was being really nice to get me woods and really thankfully i got some of my voice back on friday. teaching sucks when you had a bad throat and even talking hurts the throat. anyway, daniel and shaun came to pick me up from school and headed over to tim ho wan for lunch. heh.
dinner with the favorite couple on saturday.
dinner was at casa verda at botanic garden and i really love the outdoor dining. weather was good yesterday. its not cold but its not humid as well. no breeze but it was still cooling. didn't get any mosquito bites as well. maybe because mel filtered the bites or maybe because i wore long dress.
everything was so fresh and i really like my food. ordered two pizzas (seafood and four cheese) to share.
the scallops and the prawn at their maximum freshness.
i don't really four cheese pizza in general. it was good, like those simple good. very traditional, not fancy and you can taste the different cheese actually.
beef lasagna. nice but not a must to order because there are better food on their menu.
cod fish. it was so fresh that i didn't even taste anything fishy and the fish just melt in your mouth. there isn't any gravy, just some sea salt if i am not wrong but its really awesome.
mushroom ravioli. mushroom with truffle never goes wrong.
seafood stew. the whole dish was so fresh. i usually don't like mussels and clams because usually they will have this fishy smell but not in this stew. everything inside was so fresh. especially the scallops. this totally take over their marinara (white wine) pasta.
and the rest of the night was chilling there, disturbing her, disturbing the boys. haha.
